The Rebel Diaries:Your Excuses vs. My Side-Eye

1: "I'm Too Tired" - I had a long day at work, and I'm just too exhausted to hit the gym.

My Side-Eye: Oh, really? You can binge-watch Netflix for hours and scroll on social but can't spare 40 minutes for a workout at Rebel AC? My side-eye is getting a workout just listening to this."

2: "I Don't Have Time” - I'm too busy with work, family, and life to make it to the gym.

My Side-Eye: You mean to tell me you have work, family, friends, and a life too? Trust me, no one and I mean no one will care if you want to get a quick 40 minute workout in.

3: "I'll Start Tomorrow" - I'll start my workouts tomorrow; today just isn't the right day.

My Side-Eye: If not today, then when? Just remember, how many times you said this to yourself and you are in the same position or worse. Get fucking moving today.

4: "It's Too Cold/Hot Outside" - The weather is just not ideal for working out. It's either too cold or too hot.

My Side-Eye: People run marathons in extreme conditions, and you can't handle a little weather? Rebel AC is climate-controlled for a reason.

5: "I Don't Feel Motivated" - I don't have the motivation to go to the gym today.

My Side-Eye: Newsflash: Motivation doesn't always come before action. Sometimes, action creates motivation. Get to Rebel AC, and you might just find your motivation waiting for you.

6: "I Don't Have the Right Gear" - I can't work out because I don't have the right gym clothes or equipment.

My Side-Eye: Trust me your clothes aren’t that important. Put on anything comfortable and start moving. Your excuses won't hold up against a simple pair of sneakers or crocs.

7: "I'm Not Seeing Results" - I've been going to the gym, but I'm not seeing any results, so why bother?

My Side-Eye: Try and remember results take time Debbie Downer. Consistency is key. Don't let impatience be your excuse to quit. Keep going, and you'll thank yourself later.

8: "I Ate Badly All Weekend" - I had some cheat meals, so no point in working out now.

My Side-Eye: One bad meal won't ruin your progress. Spoiler alert, You already fucking know that. In fact, exercise can help offset occasional indulgences.

9: "I'm Not Fit Enough for the Gym" - I'm too out of shape for the gym; I'll embarrass myself.

My Side-Eye: Rebel truly is for people of all fitness levels and people. Read the google reviews. Everyone starts somewhere, and no one is judging you as much as you think. In fact, people work harder when they know someone is watching. Facts!

10: "I Don't Like the Gym" - I just don't enjoy going to the gym.

My Side-Eye: There are countless ways to stay active and fit other than going to the gym everyday. Find an activity you genuinely enjoy, whether it's dancing, hiking, or playing a sport. Odds are you aren’t doing those either. No more excuses!

In “The Gym Diaries”, your excuses don't stand a chance against the side-eye commentary that calls out the procrastination, self-doubt, and avoidance tactics that keep you from achieving your fitness goals. It's time to drop the excuses and start prioritizing your health and well-being.
